How to Series: How to choose a good powder foundation

Wherever you go to find a powder foundation be it the drugstore or your favorite cosmetic store/ beauty counter it can be quite confusing when it comes to foundations.  Here are some basic things to keep in mind when choosing one:

1) Do they carry a shade that matches my complection.  This seems like a no brainer but many times people go years wearing the wrong shade of powder and they often look gostly or extremly dark.  You always should pick a slightly lighter tone than your neckline for the winter and sometimes slightly darker for the summer

2) Does the brand cater to my skin type? Research, research, research!! Sometime powders will be better for dry skin, oily, etc..  Look for reviews they can make the world of difference.

3) Cost! Not everyone has the means to fork up $30 for a powder foundation...trust me there are some drugstore brands that will be dupes to high end brands you just may have to take a little extra time with your research but it will be worth it and your pockets will thank you.

(Sorry this would not rotate)

My pick: Loreal True Match Powder.  This creates a flawless matte finish that as they advertize is supper blendable.  It can provide up to medium coverage depending on application.  I always use with a concealer for under eye coverage.  It is very lightweight and creates a barely there feeling.  It is my go-to powder for the summer and even with heat and sweat it does not run at all.
